I've been a few times and it wasn't bad. I think it's hit or miss. They change the menu every week so you never know what you're going to get. We made it an Editor's Pick because it's worth checking out a vibey place, for a free meal and a few drinks. Nothing really to complain about there. I recommend eating in the lounge so you and your girls can chill on the leather couches.

It is probably more of a promotion than it is a 'pick'.

In all fairness, it is a nice place to hang out in the summer if you want to just sit and have a drink after you've eaten or before you go eat somewhere else. It is also conviniently located next to S. Station, for those travelers with a little extra time before they have to be somewhere. The staff there were all very polite, prof. and courteous. Even with the bad food, I still tipped the waiter 25% because he was so nice.

Given all the negative comments it's a wonder Going continues to spotlight this as an "Editors' Pick".

I went to News' Ladies' Night for the very first time thinking it would be great way to try the food and not be completely disappointed if it didn't taste right. Astonishingly, not only was I disappointed but I thought the food was still nasty even after 3 drinks under my belt (I'm usually tipsy after my first drink). Requiring a one-drink minimum is not just for their financial compensation ladies!

They served iceberg lettuce for the salad, dried buffet-style meat, fries and rice for the dinner and managed to cut a slice of cheesecake into 4 pieces. If that wasn't bad enough, they charge you 20% for tips on the regular price on the menu for the item, in addition to the meal tax that one normally pays. Now, if my server wasn't extremely nice, I would have complained.

I can understand small portions at a free event. But small portions and lowered quality too, is really over doing it. If you are really on a budget, I suggest going happy hour at some other establishment, where you get just the same quality and maybe less quantity.

    Hey Ladies,
I have to say that this "Free" 3 course meal was a great way to get you to go in and hit you up with some taxes. The atmosphere is cool and modern and the food was excellent but you even though its free you have to pay the tax on all the food you eat plus TIP! If you don't care about meeting guys it's a great place for friends getting together but I wouldn't do the 3 course again.

Every Wed Jay P & Guest DJs spin deep loungy house music.. Ladies get a Free 3 Course Meal (excluding tax & tip)

It's one of the chillest spots after work, or for before going out & getting nuts (.. and District is right around the corner)

Yvette.. I went a couple of times last year with my friends. It's a chill place to have some drinks with friends, but the food is pretty bad. But hey, it's free!!

If you go, let me know what you think.
