A great balance of power-pop and Americana bands.  There’s something about The Motion Sick that I really like; I’m not alone, because they were voted one of the Top 8 underground bands of the year on spin.com.  I feel like they’re Boston’s Fountains of Wayne.  Before the last set, they’ll back up the singer from Okay Thursday who doesn’t have a band anymore.  Show up early to hear Tad & Steve from The Kickbacks get rootsy in a Paul Westerberg vein.  Lorntell also rocks very well with a bit of a twang.
