Poetry Get Rhythm
Handsome Boy Clothing, a local label that makes cool T-shirts, is sponsoring a night at the Good Life called " Poetic Escape." It's a reading featuring seven or eight local poets, live music by the jazz band Sol' Melodiq, and music spun by DJ SolBak, who plays blues, jazz, soul, funk, house, and classics. This event runs from 8 to midnight. Organizers say they're aiming for a cultural mix -- and to highlight some of the best minds of their generation.

I'm sad I missed this! I will be there next month! Grandparents are visiting so I had to spend time with them!

But I bet you rocked it as always!!!

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out, and made the night one to remember. It has been very hard to keep this night going, and from the reaction on Wednesday I don't think you guys are going to let me quit.
