Check out the Kendall Square Farmers Market and pick up some of the freshest fruit and produce in all of Cambridge. The market will also coincide with the Berklee Jazz Concert series held every Thursday at noon through September 13th.

    Haymarket is not a farmers market! It is the last of the wholesale produce that did not go to the supermarkets!!! It is gross, old and comes from far away. It has nothing to do with a farmers market and should not be confused as a farmers market!!! It is outrageous that it is listed here. A farmers market is a place where LOCAL farmers and other LOCAL food businesses go to sell their LOCAL products. Haymarket should be removed from this list immediately!!

    What are the prices like at this place.
    AT the haymarket open air market (saturdays until 5pm)you can get watermelons for 2 bucks, ten pound bags of potatoes for 2 or three, among other crazy deals. I load up every saturday on the fruits and vegetables that i would normally never buy.
    The atmosphere there is such a melting pot, it's like being in a different country, i love it. It's always packed. you should go. I'll take pics this saturday and post it up as an event.
