Make the switch from your five-speed automatic to your one-speed banana seat this week for Bay State Bike Week, complete with FREE bike tours, food, water, breakfast spots, and safe convoys.
May 12th through the 18th is Mayor Menino's Bay State Bike Week.
One of the goals of the event is to collectively replace 50,000 miles in a car with 50,000 miles biked by participants. This is a great opportunity to give the earth and your wallet a break.
There will be "Goodie Zones" where you can pick up free food and water, guided bike tours, free breakfast spots, safe rider convoys and "Bike Buddy" programs. Click on the link below for a schedule and map of all the events going on throughout the city.
