After winning a Pulitzer for MAUS, a comic book detailing his parents' experience in Auschwitz during the Holocaust, what does author Art Spiegelman do? His newest publication Breakdowns: Portraits of an Artist and a Young %@&* should shed some light on the matter; check out his talk at the Harvard Bookstore tonight.
Art Spiegelman, the author of the very powerful and Pulitzer Prize winning MAUS, will at the Harvard Bookstore on October 23rd.
The $30 tickets are good for entrance to his talk and for a copy of his new publication Breakdowns: Potrait of an Artist and a Young %@&*. His newest creation explains how he went from a Mad Magazine obsessed youth to a neurotic adult detailing the story of his parents detainment in Auschwitz and a collection of his work from the 70's including a pulp story "Ace Hole-Midget Detective."
