A Marathon Jam


Boston will be buzzing in preparation for the 113th Running of the Boston Marathon and it is time to celebrate with our next Party with A Purpose: the Sneakers and Sweats Party.

I know we all like to Cooooor-Dinate and dress up, but this time we would like you to dress down and come ready for a Marathon Dance Party.

The pace will be set by DJ Pain spinning Old School, R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae and House. Please come ready to come stretched out and ready to party. (Note: Party with A Purpose is not responsible for any injuries or pulled muscles suffered from the affects of an amped party.)


50% of the proceeds will go to the Spelman Alumnae Association to support community programming such as the Blueprint Girls Conference and scholarships.

49 Temple Place, Boston, MA
Cost: $10 before 11pm and $15 after 11

Dress: Sneakers and Sweats or whatever makes you comfortable (prize for best old school sweat suit and sneaker combination)

Music by DJ Pain spinning the hottest R&B, Reggae, Hip Hop and Old School.
