La Grand Fete: A Celebration of Haitian Culture (Event Over)

La Grande Fete will be a dynamic celebration of Haitian arts culture, and cuisine. The program will kick off with live drumming followed by reading from local young writers and poets. The headliner of the evening will be WATCH OUT!( a local Kompa band). During the festival, authentic Haitian food will be available for purchase and artists will be selling their wares: such as Atis Fanm Matenwa, a female cooperative, will be selling handpainted silk scarves. It is a festival full of music, dance, food, and art. Join us for the fun.
