Sewing Intensive - 6 Week Workshop (Event Over)

$10 off Workshop fee (mention when registering) RSVP RequiredIn this 6-week course students will learn basic sewing skills and machine know-how. You will take on four fun projects: Project 1 Learn to use your sewing machine while making a sweet tote bag. In this 2 1/2 hour session students will learn to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, and gain a basic understanding of how a sewing machine works. Project 2 Learn to read a pattern and make a ruffled half-apron. Project 3 In two 2 1/2 hour sessions, you will learn to make a fitted, darted skirt with a zipper (the male alternative is any pattern with darts and zipper). Project 4 Choose the project of your choice to show off your skills and get the help required. Some ideas include dresses, purses, home decor items, and more advanced clothing. No experience is necessary. Plan to bring your own machine and fabric scissors. If you do not have a machine, we have a few in the store available for use but please specify at time of registration.
