In 2002 Sooz was inspired by friends at Exploit Seattle to set up Exploit Boston!, an event blog about arts/entertainment happenings around Boston. Events we are hosting or organizing a group outing to are posted to HeyLetsGo for RSVPs. Fast forward to November 2007 ... Exploit Boston! now focuses on music: event picks, concert photos, videos and internet radio. The next Boston Rocks (HLG Group) outing is coming up THIS Saturday, January 27th. If you're interested in seeing a ridiculously good night of pop+rock music in Cambridge, join us!

The SnowLeopards are celebrating the release of their debut CD, produced by Bleu (who will be performing that night, too!). The party also includes The Novels and The Everyday Visuals.

The first ten people who meet up with our group will receive a free SnowLeopards CD compliments of the band. We'll meet up in Central Square (Cambridge) at 9PM at the bar inside ZuZu and then wander around the corner to TT The Bear's Place.

I bought the domain for exploitboston.com five years ago today (10 January 2002). Doesn't seem like it's been that long.

Thanks to everyone who has checked out the event blog, listened to the radio station, contributed event photos and made it out to the game nights.

We might have a bash sometime this Spring. The radio station turns four in April.

Pan9 has been a long-standing and important artist community in Boston for many years. On December 29th their building in Allston (just a short walk from Exploit Boston's office) caught on fire resulting in tremendous damage. Several Boston area musicians and artists call Pan9 home. We don't have a cover charge at game night but will be asking that everyone please consider donating $5-$10 at game night (for Pan9) to help defray the costs of replacing personal belongings, clothing and their quest to find a new home for Pan9 and themselves. If you contribute $10 you'll receive five extra entries in the giveaway drawing at game night including gift certificates, event/concert tickets, board games and more. Exploit Boston has a pair of tix to give away for Bronson Arroyo's concert at The Roxy that's coming up on Saturday, January 13th. If you'd like a chance to win the tickets, send an email to bronsontix@exploitboston.com. Everyone who enters will be added to our email list. (It's been exceedingly low volume for a while but will return as a weekly list soon.)

It's an early, 18+ show. Doors open at 5:30PM and Bronson rocks out with his band at 6:30PM. Tickets can also be purchased for $20 from Ticketmaster. Or you can avoid those pesky service charges from TM and buy your tickets at BosTix Outlets in Copley Square or Fanueil Hall Tickets.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in Allston tonight at Exploit Boston Game Night. We'll have lots (and lots and lots) of board and card games for you to play -- around 40! It's 18+ and there's free admission.

Soul Fire has really good BBQ so get there around 7pm for dinner and then stay for the games. We're there until 11pm. The restaurant has a liquor license (finally!) so beer has once again returned to game night.
