In 2002 Sooz was inspired by friends at Exploit Seattle to set up Exploit Boston!, an event blog about arts/entertainment happenings around Boston. Events we are hosting or organizing a group outing to are posted to HeyLetsGo for RSVPs. Fast forward to November 2007 ... Exploit Boston! now focuses on music: event picks, concert photos, videos and internet radio. If you like rock music, check out event photo group at Flickr for anyone to contribute photos taken at Boston area events. The latest photos appear at Exploit Boston. If you're on MySpace, you can find Exploit Boston at myspace.com/exploitboston

It's time for another Exploit Boston Game Night. Plans to move to a new location are on hold for now. We'll be at the Common Ground tomorrow/Tuesday, September 5th at 7pm. And like all the other times before, there will be lots and lots of board and card games to play. There's no cover charge so make plans to buy a few drinks and/or food.

We've had 40-60 people show up the past three months. Add it to your wish list to let other HLG members know you'll be there:

I started up Exploit Boston Radio three years ago to showcase Boston area pop, rock and alternative bands. You can listen up via the station page at Live365: http://www.live365.com/stations/exploitbo...

Boston has an amazing music scene. Some of it you won't likely hear on any other station and some of it you can hear on Exploit Boston Radio long before it hits commercial radio.

My favorite Boston area band of the moment is The Blizzard of 78 (formerly Delta Clutch). Check them out at http://www.tbo78.net
If you have recommendations for bands that should be included, let me know.

Exploit Boston Game Night is happening tonight in Allston at the Common Ground. They've got good food so get there at 7 for dinner and then stay for the games. No cover and 21+. The Common Ground is at 85 Harvard Avenue. Take the Green Line's "B" train to Harvard Ave. The 66 and 57 buses also stop nearby.

This will be our last game night at the Common Ground. We're moving to a new location for September and beyond. Stay tuned for the new location!

To let other HLG people know you'll be there, RSVP on the event listing at http://heyletsgo.com/event.php?event_...

    See you there!

P.S. Exploit Boston Radio has been updated with a lot of great Boston bands. Listen up at http://www.exploitboston.com/radio

Looking forward to everyone who can make it out to the Common Ground in Allston tonight for another fun night of board games and card games. I finally found regular UNO decks (not those pesky Care Bears UNO decks or Harry Potter UNO decks). Bostonist and Exploit Boston are giving away a pair of tickets to see the Dixie Chicks at TD Banknorth Garden on July 29th and another pair of tickets to see The Editors at the Paradise on July 30th.

Get there at 7pm for food and then stick around for the games. The same ol' details apply: 21+, no cover and over 35 board and card games to play.

    See you there?

I'm attempting to take the 96 bus to ball square but it is taking forever to get there. Guess it is good I've got my Sidekick heh

    Hey Game Nighters!

I'm going sailing for a month this summer and was thinking about bringing along some games... especially games that are fun to play over and over again! The equipment will need to be very light and/or small, as space is at a premium. Bonus for games that are waterproof or magnetic or something along those lines. As for type of game, my favorites involve skill and strategy rather than luck. War games are right out, but other than that, I'm open to ideas.

    What do you think?
