Due to this unfun cough (and antibiotics) that I've got, I'm not able to make it out to our ZuZu/SnowLeopards outing.

Kristen who works with me on Exploit Boston adventures will be at ZuZu at 9PM. You'll recognize her as the human with the bright yellow Exploit Boston Radio bag.

The next Boston Rocks (HLG Group) outing is coming up THIS Saturday, January 27th. If you're interested in seeing a ridiculously good night of pop+rock music in Cambridge, join us!

The SnowLeopards are celebrating the release of their debut CD, produced by Bleu (who will be performing that night, too!). The party also includes The Novels and The Everyday Visuals.

The first ten people who meet up with our group will receive a free SnowLeopards CD compliments of the band. We'll meet up in Central Square (Cambridge) at 9PM at the bar inside ZuZu and then wander around the corner to TT The Bear's Place.

Exploit Boston has a pair of tix to give away for Bronson Arroyo's concert at The Roxy that's coming up on Saturday, January 13th. If you'd like a chance to win the tickets, send an email to bronsontix@exploitboston.com. Everyone who enters will be added to our email list. (It's been exceedingly low volume for a while but will return as a weekly list soon.)

It's an early, 18+ show. Doors open at 5:30PM and Bronson rocks out with his band at 6:30PM. Tickets can also be purchased for $20 from Ticketmaster. Or you can avoid those pesky service charges from TM and buy your tickets at BosTix Outlets in Copley Square or Fanueil Hall Tickets.

This group started up a couple months ago and we already have 81 members. Nice! I wanted to let you know that everyone is now welcome to post concert recommendations -- instead of just me. The only "requirement" is that the concert needs to include at least one Boston band since the focus of the group is about Boston bands.

In case you hadn't heard, one of my favorite musicians is playing at the Paradise Rock Club on Comm Ave in Boston. I highly recommend this show. Lloyd is by far one of my top 3 favorite musicians. If you like Leonard Cohen or Morrissey you will like his music.

I plan to get there at 8PM. If you want to meet up with other Boston Rocks! cohorts, please add the event to your wishlist and I'll follow up with you around 5pm.

Seriously! This guy is unbelievable.

It looks like there are three of us who have noted ourselves as "going" to the Take You Higher show at Harper's. Anyone else interested in joining us? Please chime in on this message's thread if you're interested in meeting up with us. The show is at 10 and at least two of us seem to be interested in dinner around the corner at Soul Fire at 9.

Boston Rocks #4 is coming up on Friday, October 6th. Take You Higher brings their Sly Stone tribute show to Harper's Ferry at 10PM. This is no doubt going to be lots of fun. Lots!

All shows at the club are 21+. TBD ticket price -- most likely $8-$10.

There's a really good (and new) BBQ restaurant in Allston called Soul Fire. It's on Harvard Ave around the corner from Harper's Ferry. Anyone interested in getting dinner before the show around 9PM?
