Hi All,
Just wanted to send out a reminder about tomorrow’s North
End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) election. Voting is
between 10AM and 2PM at the Nazzaro Community Center (30 North
Bennett St. between Hanover & Salem). Every vote counts and I
would be ever grateful for one of your votes!
Forward this email to your friends, tell your roommates, spread the
word! It only takes a couple minutes!
DON’T FORGET:
>Give me a call/text at 617-877-7356 if you have any questions
or have any free time to help me hand out flyers at the polling
place! A few people have volunteered, but I can always use more
help!
>If you aren't registered to vote in the North End, or aren't
sure, just bring some proof of residency [lease, driver's license
(with North End address), utility bill, etc.]
>If you ARE voting for me, and I hope you are, please do a
BULLET VOTE for me, aka, don't place any other votes. Since you are
allowed to vote for “up to” six people, getting some
bullet votes will help me gain some ground on the others
candidates.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...
>Victory/Concession Party at The Waterfront Café on
Commercial Street @ 3:30PM! Thanks again for your support, see you
tomorrow!

Hi All,
I am running for North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC)
and I am asking for your vote in the election next Saturday. I want
to inject some new blood and a fresh perspective to the council.
Last week I collected over 50 signatures to quality for the ballot,
and after a random drawing I am in the #2 ballot slot. Looks like
there will be nine candidates vying for six open seats. Three
candidates are incumbents, so it is essentially six candidates for
three seats on the board. Every vote counts!
All North End residents are eligible to vote. If you aren't
registered to vote in the North End, or aren't sure, bring some
proof of residency (lease, license, utility bill, etc).
Spread the word, tell your friends, forward this group to other
young North Enders and watch for my ad in this week's North End
News. Vote early and often, it only takes five minutes. See you on
on May 19th at the Nazzaro Community Center (30 North Bennett St.
between Hanover & Salem) between 10AM - 2PM.
PS: And of course stay tuned for the exciting details about the
Victory/Concession Party!

The holidays have passed, the Red Sox are back at work and Spring
is just around the corner. Sounds like the perfect time for the
second North End Neighborhood Night Party, sponsored by ONEin3
Boston*!
If you live or work in the North End, come down to The Living Room
on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7 @ 6PM to meet your neighbors, hang out with
old friends, or both! Nothing breaks up the work week like $1.50
drafts, ½ priced appetizers and free prizes. Have Restaurant
Week reservations that night? Stop by for a drink on the way to
dinner!
In October, over 100 people came to the first party to meet and
mingle. If you missed it or are new to the neighborhood, you
won’t want to miss out on what is fast becoming THE party for
young North Enders!

Hi all,
I'm presently in a one year lease that ends in August and my
roommate and I think when this lease is up, it'll be time for a
change of scenery. We'd love to live in the North End, but aren't
sure if we'll be able to find an apartment with what we want in our
price range. We'd be looking for a two bedroom apartment and the
two most important features we're looking for in that apartment are
a washer and dryer in the apartment and a private deck. Our price
range is $2000 a month or less. Does that seem like it would be a
possibility in the North End? Any imput on this would be much
appreciated!

Hi Stacy,
I just moved to the North End a few months ago and it was quite
difficult to find a nice (meaning spacious and newly renovated) one
bedrm apt for less than $1800. The main problem with North End apts
is their small size. You should have no problem finding a 2 bdrm
for around 2K but will you be able to fit all your stuff in there?
Check on Craigslist and good luck. Let me know if you find a place
- it's good to meet new neighbors =)
