Community Boating, on the Charles River (near the Hatch Shell), is
a private nonprofit public sailing club that serves the
metropolitan Boston Community by enhancing the overall quality of
city life. Community Boating's program is the largest, oldest, and
best public sailing program in the United States, and serves as a
model program for many others.
